Climbing Mount Everest is an incredibly challenging and impressive feat for humankind. For most climbers, a successful summit starts with years of logistical work, physical training, mental practice, and keen attention to weather patterns and additional details. Mount Everest requires those that summit to push themselves, often going beyond the physical and mental limits they thought they had. In other words, it necessitates Transcending a variety of barriers, and being all in.
At Transcend International we are eager to bring Mount Everest-level preparation, work ethic, and attention to detail to our community-focused philanthropic efforts. We are committed to go beyond or to Transcend the current limits of financial inclusion, digital equity, and access to quality education, and we are confident that through this approach we will successfully elevate individuals and communities throughout the world.
Transcend International was founded in 2021 as a 501c3 organization emphasizing a community-focused approach to philanthropy. One of our first projects is focused on minimizing the digital divide. While visiting Detroit, our Founder witnessed first-hand how detrimental the lack of broadband internet access has become. There are communities of people across the nation and throughout the world that cannot receive adequate medical care, education, financial access, emergency services, and a slew of other resources because they cannot connect to the internet. Transcend International is facing this feat just like Mount Everest, head on.
